To repeat my post in the previous thread, I am using IE10 in Windows 8, and my browser crashes randomly when I click on one of the forums in the drop-down forum selector menu. I currently have Enhanced Protected Mode (aka 64-bit mode) enabled, and disabling it seems to fix the problem, however, I would prefer to be able to keep using Enhanced Protected Mode.

Though things have improved markedly since yesterday, I am coming across an apparently random problem whereby some thumbnails are not displaying at all. In their place is the little red cross and the words 'Click here for full sized photo!', and also occasionally when clicking on a (not related to above comment) full size photo, the photo doesn't show at all, just large A.net blue blank with the red cross in the top left corner, together with the details of the aircraft that should be displaying.

Cheers.

RE: Report The Bugs Here (Part 3)

I'm seeing the same problem that Paul is, and a problem with uploading photos as well using IE9. When I try and upload, I get a white page with an error message saying the image can't be transferred and a link to a page that doesn't exist. However, when I access the site via my phone, everything seems to be working perfectly and I've been able to upload a couple of photos. All photos are displayed and I can upload photos no problem when using my phone, so it seems to be an issue with IE.

Thanks,

Darrren

Trying to upload photos and recieving this error message

"You currently have photos waiting in the upload queue. This is the maximum number allowed. Please wait with further photo uploads until the screeners have been able to have a look at them. You will receive an email when your photos have been screened"

I have two slots available to me. Can someone please investigate?

I have to say I love this site but its performace over the last few weeks has been less than stellar.

My First Class membership seems to have vanished, no e-mail or anything to renew it appeared though.

So, I've upgraded again but you'd never know, I'm still getting all the adverts!

Some of the photos are coming up as "Default Image"; for example photo no. 2160190 has come up with this just now. I seem to remember that there was a similar problem a year or so back which took quite a while to fix.

I'm on Firefox and this problem has only come up over the last day.

Could this be investigated and fixed please? Thank you.

Do you have more details please or have they indexed back now?

Quoting 1337Delta764 (Reply 2):

Noted, thank you.

Quoting Psych (Reply 3):
Quoting dazbo5 (Reply 4):

Some thumbnails are not displaying initially in certain browsers, a refresh of the page usually fixes this however the issue has been logged with the developer team, we await their response.

Quoting 9MMPD (Reply 5):

I just tried on 4 different browsers with no problems, including IE, the browser dazbo5 was having an issue with. Can you please clear out your cookies and see if that resolves this for you?

Quoting ba319-131 (Reply 6):

Please contact [email protected] and the team will assist you with this

Quoting Marshfieldjeff (Reply 7):

Please refer above, the developers are aware and a refresh should work until they resolve the issue.

Thanks and regards

Hi Paul,

I had the same error 9MMPD is having. Trying to upload an image (having 15 slots available) and getting the "Maximum number of photos in queue reached" message back.

I erased the cookies and started a new browser (firefox) session, but to no avail.

Could you please investigate?

TIA,
RS

Thanks Paul I will try that next time. It seemed to work today without having to do that. I tried yesterday on my home PC, my work lap top and my personal lap top all with the same response.

Here is what I've been seeing for the past couple of days with Firefox. Tried to hit F5 for refresh and no luck. Then I will close the browser, bring Airliners back up and the home page will be fine with all photos showing normally. Then close it, bring Airliners back up and there will not be any photos on the front page. It's just been hit and miss.

The first thing you should have done was to send an email to Support ([email protected]), as the issue you were/are having is something they would typically be able to take a look at, as they have access to all payment information including payment dates (Support handles all matters in regards to account payments.). Since you have attempted to upgrade your account and your account is not being shown as a First Class member, you should email Support for assistance. The lack of an email regarding your First Class membership may be due to some of the email issues all of the crew departments have been having in recent weeks (No deletion notices, no acceptance/rejection emails, etc.).

I am unable to upload photos to the queue.

The airline drop-down menu doesn't come up even though this particular registration has photos on the DB. The aircraft type gets auto-filled correctly though.

Once I click on the "Submit info and upload photo" button, this is the error I get:

There was an error uploading the file, please try again!Error moving the uploaded file (/tmp/php28UOG1 to /home/vhosts/www.airliners.net/docs/addphotos/big/c1347775965.5269n963an-001.jpg)

Is uploading disabled right now?

Tried to add images to my profile so I could add to posts, received the following message-" Sorry, no image data found"

Using IE 9 and tried it with prev uploaded images, same result.

Profile images also display the "red X" box instead of images that were already in DB

Site not loading:

I have now tried with my Mac, my Lenovo, and my iPad three different browsers (Firefox, Safari, and Opera) and I've had the same trouble with all of them.

Parts of the site won't load for example, if I search for say all F-15 photos some of the thumbnails will be blank. Or when I log onto the front page everything will be there minus all images. All the forum topics are there, but none of the photos are present.

I can post a photo later if you like.

If I do a search for D-AILS I also get D-AILE in the results.

Upload is not possible as several errors occur every time:

1.) During auto-completion with D-AIMC and a selection of Lufthansa the airline is not copied into the airline field below. A manual selection is also not possible.

After clicking on upload a failure message is displayed.

On IE9 the cover photos don't show since ca. 1 week. On Firefox it works fine though. Just as it used to do on IE9 as well...

Some thumbnails also don't load properly as well as some images themselves. Hitting refresh helps but this shouldn't be the new standard.

Hope this helps for trouble shooting.

My reply appears in the thread, as does the yellow star, but my user ID does not appear in the "Reply by" column in the index page. It shows the ID of the member who made the reply before mine. It's now about 10 minutes since I made the reply and my user ID is still missing.

Also, when I first accessed the site through the search engine screen, it doesn't download properly. All I get is a partial screen with no pictures, or number of photos uploaded in previous 24-48 hours, etc.

Many thanks.

Hi,
I have same problems (as http://www.flickr.com/photos/stephan737/8001100764/)
and after the upload I got a message like this:

There was an error uploading the file, please try again!Error moving the uploaded file (/tmp/phpATVBHp to /home/vhosts/www.airliners.net/docs/addphotos/big/r1348215646.9178erez_xxxx.....jpg).

What's the problems ?

When I check the statistics I see new uploads was added to the queue, so that the problem is not clear to me, and it is not just me, as it turns out ...

PS - apologize about my bad English...

No, the problem is not only on your end. it has been noted and forwarded to the developer.

I am using Google Chrome and cannot upload any pictures at all. It won't let me. The Top5, photographer choice doesn't show up on the front page, no pictures embedded in the threads (hosted on A.net) are displayed, the pictures in my upload queue cannot be displayed (not small, medium or large)..
