RE: Report The Bugs Here (Part 6)

Wed Mar 12, 2014 10:10 pm

Not sure if it has been brought up, but I had two photos accepted this morning, but they're coming up as DEFAULT IMAGES, on the thumbnail and the large photo version.

Actually, it has also affected another photo (1) that was accepted a few days ago - not on the same time as this morning.

Would you like a screenshot?

Not sure which thread this is covered in? Clearly this problem persists and I would not mind an update.

As of March 13th, 10:40 ESDT clearly the problem disscribed above has not been resolved. If the thumbnail Default Images are clicked on, then a picture appears, but with the airliners.net watermark. As a First Class member, this is not acceptable. I agree with PHX787, if addressed in a different thread, then where? Some explanation and a ' get well date"would be appreciated.

Whose idea was it to take the website down for maintenance 1) at 8:45am PST on Wednesday and 2) not to test the site before rolling it out to the public?

Why is it every time you do so called maintenance on the site there is a screw up and the site doesn't work? What is the time frame for a fix this time?

Still the same, just checked (4:30 pm UTC) for me it is either the thumbnails being "Default images" and then the actual images visible or the thumbnails are visible and the actual pictures are just "Default". I also had the case once that a picture from the "Photographer's choice" section was visible in medium size, but once you tried to enlargen it all you had was an extremely pixelated default image again.

With that solved, can they look at the "cookie" issue related to the Civ Av forum and Safari? I suspect it's related to thread history counter or viewed memory... since the only time it affected affected another forum (military) was during the contentious A vs B tanker debates.

Part of my uploaded pictures in "my profile" are also still shown as default and seem to be missing. However the space taken by this pictures is still occupied, because when trying to upload more pictures the following message was displayed : you have used up 1,948,892 bytes of your total space of 2,000,000 bytes

Only effected are the most recent pictures, the first effected was uploaded at February 10 2014.

All older pictures are normally displayed.

All photos uploaded and being used in my profile show "default image". As result where those photos are used in threads, they also show "default image"

Even my own photos uploaded since 2010 show the watermark. Will this be corrected?
It seems to me that faults that ocurred while maintenance was in progress are not corrected later.

One of my friends sent me a postcard today and the "to/from" and his comments did not show, just the image and a blank postcard.

Can you look into this?

Make that another that has to refresh several times for a thread to appear. It isn't with every thread. I can usually get through a couple threads before it happens. Once it does happen I won't see it until I go through another couple threads again.
