How do I delete my pictures from your site?

Wed Jun 15, 2016 8:58 am

I don't want my pictures on this site anymore how do I go about getting them removed. It used to look smart and professional and now its like the facebook of aircraft, designed for children and those with the attention span of a gnat (and not the good type) I don't feel like that's how I want my photos to be presented. When the professional and advert free options return to the site then maybe myself and my photos will too.

I must admit,it doesn't look anyway near has good has it used to be.
How do you find out how many photos are in the upload queue and whereabouts my photos are in it.
Go back to the old site, don't think i will be uploading for a while now.
Would rather have the site how it used to be like airfighters.

Just thinking outsde the box here: Might it not be a better idea to wait a couple of days, perhaps even a week or two, and see the reaction to the feedback before you decide to leave and take your photos with you?

I'm not fond of many aspects of the new look either, but if it changes for the (much) better, it may turn out more than just fine.

I suggest you see airkas1's replies here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1335335

Airkas1 is a crew member on the site. Apparently the problems are being worked on and the photograph issues are the #1 priority, then comes the color scheme and other issues.

Absolutely. We are forwarding all feedback to the development team. There are modifications coming. Bugs will be fixed.

If you still want your photos deleted, send us an email and we will do that for you. Please note, that the deletion process is irreversible and permanent.

Where is this list of issues that are known about and being worked on? There is nothing even remotely obvious on the forums other than having or awkwardly trawl through these forums.

Fred, nobody could love airliners.net more than me. There are issues, but I'm sure they'll get sorted. I'm patient and I'm prepared to give a site that I've used daily since 2003 a bit more time.

Why not wait a couple of weeks and see how things are then?
