There was an important post about Boeing’s 787’s from the FBI investigated and troubled Charleston plant having severe issues with emergency oxygen In the Civil Aviation forum. Why was this post deleted?
This comes after moderators judged initial calls by posters to ground the 737MAX ridiculous, which we now all know were very justified. Not a good look when it comes to Boeing bias after being taken over by an American company.
Good that a new thread is up. But why would someone delete the first one that had multiple comments? I can’t remember the exact opening post, but nothing stood out.
If it’s because the initial post didn’t contain a comment by the user and just the news message, that’s kind of a moot reason to delete a topic if several people after that did add personal comments. And the same is true for the current opening post.
Due to the fact that we do not edit posts, except maybe the thread titles the whole thread gets deleted when the first post is violating forum rules, no matter why.
