Your option of going to the first unread post is not working.
With the never ending threads, which I am personally not a fan of it, it becomes very hard to navigate.
Do you have a timeline as to when this might get fixed? It’s been about a week now since it stopped working.

I do not see any issues with this function, have you tried using another browser?

This is weird. It is now working after a week of not working. I’m am using an iPad and have for years.
