Defining Thread Bumping to Cause a Response
How do you find out if someone bumps up a thread with the intent to cause a response. Would it be OK to add some more of my thoughts or opinions to a thread that has been active in the past six months on a thread that I started. It is kind of confusing to know if one bumps a thread simply to cause a response or continue a healthy discussion.

Typically we would class bumping a thread within the 6 month period with a comment such as “any responses” or reposting the same thing to illicit a response. If you have new information and it falls under the six month period I see no reason to class that as a thread bump
