I have never been successful uploading a photo taken on an iPhone as the images are too big.
How do I make it small enough to upload on your site?

I am in the same situation right now. I am a new Airliners.net user who wants to try to upload pictures on here I took in the past. Because I used an iPhone to take the pictures and I use a PC laptop, I had to email myself the pictures and download them to get them on the PC. Is there some kind of app on the PC that people recommend that can help decrease the file size without having to crop it?

You will need to use an app where you can re-size the photos (plus other edits as warranted) and then submit them. PS Express and Lightroom from Adobe are great for that.
Be warned, while there are iPhone and Samsung mobile device pictures in the DB here and there, this is quite rare - the quality just isn't there for most mobile device images when compared to what comes out of a camera with a large sensor (and good glass).
