When a post of yours is quoted, a little red dot appears by the bell.
In the second week of January, "my" dot became elongated and when I clicked on it, it suggested that I had been quoted in a dozen or so threads - threads I had never even looked at.
I wrote to support@. I got no reply. I wrote again. After three or four messages someone asked what the problem was.
The following day I was told, "There was an attempted security breach. It's been resolved with no loss of data or anything and we're working to resolve it."
It's been resolved and we're working to resolve it. Eh?
The last communication I had was on 1st Feb. "I hope it will be sorted soon."
Since then I have written half a dozen times. No reply.
Ten days ago, I wrote to a senior moderator here. Again, no reply.
As of today, I have apparently been quoted 616 times.
For more than a month no one at ANet has even bothered to answer my messages.
Is anyone else having this problem?

This is the first I have heard of it and I would say the other moderators as well. When you say you emailed a senior moderator did you use their username@airliners.net, if so that address is redundant now as we had a changeover about a year ago and you must use the generic email address, that being moderators@airliners.net
Could you please send an email to that address, and can you send some screenshots so we can investigate further
One last thing, these notifications you are receiving, have you subscribed or bookmarked any topics as that may explain the number of notifications you have received
