I'm here on a.net much less frequently than I used to be, so sorry if this topic has come up before...
I actually can't stay on the site for more than 30 seconds at a time because on either side of the forum messages and above them, are constantly animated ads.
Of course I understand that a.net needs to show ads to stay afloat, but the animation DOESN'T STOP - I could probably handle it if one or two animations played while a page is loading, but then every 10-20 seconds or so the animations begin again. It noticeably taxes my nervous system.
Is there something that can be done about this?

Get an adblocker extension for your web browser. There are websites where you can cite abusive advertisements and get them taken down by the site management, but a.net isn't one of them.

I'm with you man...every effing platform out there are these effing ads. It really is a public nuisance.

1 - a.net management doesn't care.
2 - install an ad-blocker
3 - see 1
Me neither on my PC or laptop, but if viewing on my phone or iPad then the ads are intrusive. Plus, an increasing number of sites now detect ad-blockers and refuse to load unless you disable the ad-blocker for that site or page.
