Deltaflot! Although, it would be cool if they painted the fuselage in the light blue color...or switched between the fuselage being white, light blue, and dark blue. That would look awesome.

What is the new DL livery supposed to represent?

Yes, looks like new SU, "Deltaflot?" It is clean, etc... but what is with the drapery sky blue, dark blue and red on the tail? Is it a flag? Kind of out of place on a multi million dollar machine? A softer image? Where is the "widget" now that it has a sloping frown on the fuselage.

I miss Delta Air Lines being written about dozen times on the engine, tail and fuselage of the airplane, they seemed proud in years gone by, they bought'em, they own 'em and are proud to fly 'em.

Or is there no significance? Keep looking for the hidden widget in one of the folds of the drape, still have not found it? Why the twice change in the last six years?

1. Northwest has the best because its the most outstanding. Unique colours, unique graphics.
2. United is a fine second.
3. US Airways third.
American is in fourth place.
Pan Am gets some points for its classic livery.

All others fall behind. Continental aircraft have a beautiful tail, but a dull fuselage. Delta is still crap for me. Alaskas colours are awful. Frontier looks cheap as does the Soutwest livery. Not bad, but a bit tacky and hardly timeless are the new Sun Country and ATA liveries.

My thoughts:
Any of the Delta paint schemes (some planes look good in 1 paint scheme, some in the others)

The new USAirways is cool, I like both of theirs.

TWA's is cool, the old one was ok. I think American should keep some planes in the current TWA paint scheme when TWA is gone, for memories.

American's is ok, but isnt it about 30 years old? Go back to the Lightning Bolt!!

Northwest's is cool.

United's is nice.

Continental's is decent.

I like ATA's current scheme (not the gold one, the
beach on the tail one.)

JetBlue & Midway's are good looking

Southwest's, Midwest Express's & America West's are ok.
Cactus's old one was better.

My favorite would have to be American. When you have a great sunset you can see the reflection. However i really do also like continental's paint scheme since I am from houston.
