Best Airline Symbol

I think Ansett's symbol was very good. Sad that it's gone. I also like SIA's and PAL's symbols.

I would say the kangaroo, when people see it they think of Australia, when airline enthusiasts see it they think of Qantas

QANTAS & Ansett are good. The Northwest symbol is brilliant....a combined N & W. United, American, Virgin also good as they are so recognizable & unique. Kenya Airways is cool....a combined K & A.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

B777-777X, I agree with you. PAL has a really cool symbol. If you don't already know, their tail livery is a duplicate of the nation's flag. What a beautiful tail.

But nothing beats seeing those vivrant and patriotic colors when matched with the plane's entire body. Thw white body certainly brings out the symbol's vivrant colors.

logo and tail design are not the same things; both are part of the livery, although the logo can appear differently on the planes than on marketing items.

I would say that, even in light of Tuesdays tragic events, that United's "Sweeping U" logo has two be one of the best in the industry. It is instantly recognizable, and has been used for years.

I reallize that neither of these two are stll flying, but I have to throw them in- 1. National's(the original) orange and yellow sunburst and 2. (My favorite) Pan Am's blue ball, known around the world in its day.

3. BA Concord tail. Incredibly regal and elegant.

I vote for KLM. OK, I am Dutch. But compare our small country to the big UK, Germany and France. I don't think KLM is doing quite good.

I have to admit wherever I come in the world and see that blue crown and the three letters, I feel something proud inside. Proud to be Dutch.

Although KLM should change its housstyle. Definetely not their housecolors.
