Boeings - the best. Apart from Bristol Britannias, of course.

One of my very earliest memories is of one of Britannia Airways' early B737s en route to Barcelona. It was 1976 and I was 5 - I'm not sure which made the loudest scream, the engines or my baby sister. We had to land at a WWII French airstrip because the Spanish ATC were on strike! Out came those magic airstairs...

A best memory is LGW-MSP nonstop (NW45) on a 747-151 (thought to have been N601US but record of it lost although I still have the safety card!) and sitting on the upper deck. The height of style! NW had only just intro'd biz class, and not long intro'd nonstop LGW-MSP. I still have the promo button/badge for that launch.

But I DIGRESS!

Have also flown on various B747-151s and 251s (inc. N601US) plus B727-251adv (NW) and B737-800 (KLM).

Long live Boeings.

*Well not exaclty a 'real' Boeing but the 717 (DC-9/MD-80etc..) is masquerading as a Boeing. But we all know better.  Big grin

I've been on the following Boeings...
707-120 & 320.
727-100 & 200.
737-200 & 300.
747-100 & 200.
757-200.
But not the 717, 767 & 777 yet. I know I'll do these ships sometime in the future. The one that got away is the 747SP. My chances are zipped on this great bird. Regards.

B727 - Delta, Mexicana, United, Western (both before and after the merger), Northwest... all -200s.

B737 - Delta (-200, -300, -800), United (-200, -300, and -500), Alaska(-400), Air Canada (ex-CP -200), US Airways (-400)

B747 - Iberia (-200 and -200 Combi), United (-400)

B757 - Delta, American, United, Mexicana, Aeromexico

B767 - Delta (-200, -300, -300ER), United (-300ER), Aeromexico (-200ER)

B777 - Delta (-232ER), United (-222 and -222ER), Air France (-228ER)

I just realized that I haven't really flown that many different airlines' aircraft. I'd estimate that about 95% of the flying in my life has been on three airlines, in order of amound of flying: Delta, Aeromexico, and Mexicana. Interesting....
