G-VMIA and G-VOYG Virgin

Sun Dec 06, 1998 6:09 am

Does anyone know how the Spirit of Sir Freddie and Shady Lady are doing in the Virgin Atlantic Fleet? I was wondering if they operated the same two routes every other day. Do you also know the names of the new 747-400 and recently deliverd 747-200s from Cathay?

Bad news on the G-VOYG front. I originally posted this in response to
your earlier question about G-VMIA and G-VOYG:

"Sorry to break this to you, CX747, but I read a post on another forum
(by one BCALman) about Virgin Atlantic's G-VOYG leaving London Gatwick
for RAF Kemble to be scrapped. That last flight apparently took place
on 7th of this month (Nov)."

All good things...
