I have seen the pics of one of them in Phoenix, very boring. The tail logo is the same size as the one on the DC-9's !!. I heard this aircraft was delivered to Manila last week.

Here is a pic of the only DC-9-31 they have. The aircraft that is used twice a day to Hong Kong.

..it arrived last December 16 from Phoenix via Honolulu. It's a nice aircraft but the tail logo needs to be larger (IMHO). It was flown be American ferry pilots as Cebu 2715 (the registration #)

Elmer

Yep, sorry.. that server is really slow. Btw, there are four pics just in case you don't know. Those pictures were taken by a good friend of mine in Manila as I'm from Vancouver.

Cheers!

WOW, whats all that construction at the old Air Force base ??. Its been a few yesr since I went spotting in the park these photos are taken from.

By the way, why is the fence in the picture ??. You can get above the fence.

When I saw the pics in Phoenix I also said the tail logo is way too small, they just used the logo from the DC-9.

the thing in the background? Well, that's the new terminal 3 under construction  Smile/happy/getting dizzy I'm not really sure why the fence was in the picture. Maybe my friend was using a short ladder which isn't enough to get rid of it in the photo. Anyway, the 3rd B757 "City of Manila" will be wearing a special scheme that should be a treat to all.

Cheers!

Pity that the tail logo is totally out of proportion!

I've just seen the 757. It is parked on Bay S33 at CLK. It's not particularly exciting, but it's different, and that's nice.

Where are these pics from? MNL is building a new T3, or is it Cebu???

My uncle is a Cebu Pacific DC-9 pilot that is transitioning to the 757; he recently flight trained at NW's centers in MSP... It's hard to get in touch with him though, he's always on the run!

But I'll let you guys know how his initial flights go.
