Not Big Airlines Pullling The Strings A.t.m

Fri Jan 04, 2002 10:04 pm

I have the feeling that not the traditional "big" airlines like BA, AF, AA and UA are pulling the strings in alliance land at this moment.

I think airlines that have a healthy balance sheet, flexibility and appeared to be "shock prove" in the last half year might be more likely to take over others. They have their hands free, cash money, and their management has the support from investers & employees.

I would rather invest in streetfighters like NWA, Delta, KLM and SWA rather then traditional players. Stock values of these airlines prove people are at last starting to understand the difference between hard steel and shiny tin.
