Jet2.com (LS) are planning use of an Airbus A330-200 for summer 2017 season, seems the A330 aircraft will be based in Manchester entering service from Late-May 2017.
I have just booked a Jet2 flight for Lanzarote on 8th June 17 and noticed its an all economy layout so who will Jet2 lease from? The planned use of a Air AsiaX A330-300 in 2015 didn't materialise so who will they use for the summer A330 lease
Planned A330-200 operation as of 24MAY16 as follow.
eff 24MAY17 Manchester – Rhodes 1 weekly
eff 25MAY17 Manchester – Lanzarote 2 weekly
eff 25MAY17 Manchester – Palma Mallorca 6 weekly
eff 26MAY17 Manchester – Tenerife South 3 weekly

Maybe some former EK birds, just as the two recently leased by TS.

I believe they are using a Hi-Fly A330-200 configured with around 340 seats.

Thanks for info, if its HiFly there's definitely no chance of some IFE... better get the ipad charged

Nice bit of growth for Jet2, even if it is just a summer wet lease. I don't know what it is, but there is something I quite like about Jet2. Hopefully the A330 is painted in their colours
