Has anyone heard if DL plans to add AVOD or just WiFi to the new C-100's? The artists rendering I saw showed AVOD but that does not necessarily mean that is the plan.
Any word or is it still too early to figure if any of the orders or options will be converted to the C-300?

The C-Series will be their most technologically advanced aircraft in the fleet I doubt they would leave AVOD off of them. DL must take a minimum 35 CS100s before they can convert to CS300s.

Delta has recently promoted free-WiFi on its network. This plane will have all the comforts and maybe more of its existing fleet.
As far as the CS300, they can wait for the 35 SC100's to be delivered, evaluate the plane, and make a choose then. Or, they can make a separate CS300 order. What I find interesting is who soon Delta's delivery date is from time of order. The beginning of 2018 is not that far off. I wish that someone would build a good production list like the 787 and 350 has.

Delta isn't offering free wifi. DL is offering free entertainment, some via seatback AVOD, some from onboard server via wifi to personal devices.
As for the OP's question, we may see some indication that DL would use these (to supplement A319s/reassign less fuel efficient 319s) on long/thin routes if AVOD is fitted.
