The typical range of an A321NEO-LR is 7400km, CHC-PER is around 5000km.
In theory yes - would depend on winds/routeing.

ZKOAB wrote:There was a previous mention that the ETA for delivery of MVM is August.
Is there a confirmed delivery date? Any rough estimates on MVN and MVP?
PA515 wrote:I don't have an exact date for ZK-MVM, but expect it will arrive within two weeks to be in service by 29 Aug when HLZ-PMR-WLG changes to a Q300.
ZK-MVN is Nov 2016
ZK-MVP is Jul? 2017 ("mid year" 2017, but in FY18)
Plus three more in FY18, then five in FY19, and five in FY20 with the last (29th) in "early 2020".
Then there's the 30 options mentioned in an ATR Press Release, but later removed.

Thanks for the info PA515. It's greatly appreciated!
I haven't been on this forum for long but I've picked up that you and a couple of others are a wealth of information.

MVN is due to arrive into CHC on Aug 24th and enter service on Sep 1st.
MVP & MVQ are the only new arrivals for 2017 at this stage and are scheduled for July & August.

I hear that from late October It will operate 380 chc/syd/dxb as ek413 and akl will pick up ek419 akl/syd/Bkk/dxb
That is an interesting idea, but I thought CHC wasn't A380 capable (for regular service anyway)...?

Bollocks. While it is more manageable in some ways than the old, I still find it very un - user friendly to use.
The old cutoff was 200 posts -thereabouts. Perhaps 250 would be ok now.
I vote for new threads!

Pretty sure they have started or about to start getting an A380 gate ready for it. I think the gate was the only main issue when it came to CHC. Wouldn't think it will be to much longer until they announce.

Also, I have been hearing talk around this site and various others about NZ introducing a new (premium-heavy) configuration for upcoming 789's. Can anyone confirm this? IMO it'd make sense, but would surely have to be coupled with conversion of some of the remaining options (how many are left? 4?) seeing as it'd be rather pointless to have 3 or 4 in a different configuration to the rest.
