Sierra Pacific Airlines is 40 years old and has but 3 a/c
Was in Tucson recently and there was the entire Sierra Pacific fleet which consists of two 737-200's and one 737-500. They are 40 years old and I remember them filling in for Morris Air in SLC and I guess their business plan is to not grow but stay small forever!! Imagine the hundreds of US based airlines that have come and gone in the last 40 years but Sierra Pacific is still with us!!

I love Sierra Pacific. I enjoy seeing the -200s (was one in SAT last week) and love the paint scheme. However I liked it better when name was painted on the tail.
Having worked in BOI before, was always nice to see them doing the flights for the USFS/BLM etc for fire fighting support into NIFC.
Also remember doing some Morris service with the -300s. Didn't know they had any -500.
I'll scan their flights of late on flight aware since flights are either 703 or 712 due to a/c number.
When they had their Convair 580s in the blue scheme, they were very attractive. They did sub service for Horizon BOI-PDX/SEA just before the F-28s came to QX. Hope they last a lot longer.

From 2004-2009 I lived in Tucson. There was one Sierra Pacific Plane almost always parked in the cargo area.

I believe Sierra Pacific was at its largest when they were flying for Morris Air with Ryan International. I remember SP having 737-100's, -200's and -300's back then.

The 737-528 was purchased about a year and a half ago, it has not yet started service. That is registered N708S. N712S will shortly be retired.
