I'd love them to have ordered it, but I am yet to be convinced.

U2 is the world's largest A319 operator anywhere to my knowledge - would be a good fit. But a marketing visit != an order, especially when they're already "in town". Still a lot of work to be done...

I'm guessing they're very interested in the aircraft, so Bombardier has nothing to lose by showing it off to them. Hoping for a huge order.

They have 130 A320neos on order plus 100 options. Are they using those to upgauge A319s or just to expand? They also have an additional 52 outstanding orders for A320-200s. Does anyone know their fleet strategy, are they looking for a plane on the lower end? I suppose the CS100/300 could help to open up some new lean routes and the CS300 can be crammed with 160 seats so it would be a good direct replacement for the A319s. But it does seem like a lot of new planes for them when you count in their existing orders.

They could be wanting to expand into the regional market. Which would be very interesting. There are a couple of UK domestic slots still available at Heathrow. That might be wishful thinking, but you never know..

Some of 319 are over 10 years old. Bus slots pretty for Airbus so a cheap deal might be good to get them soon.
Also might be something to do with European aoc
