United Airlines 767-300ER

Sat Jul 16, 2016 8:44 pm

I recently flew GVA to EWR on a refurbished UA 767-300ER featuring BusinessFirst, Economy Plus, and Economy. It was one of the newer birds from the 763 fleet delivered in 1999 or 2000 or so and I think initially used on domestic flights. Pleasant ride, tidy aircraft, if still looking a bit on the dated side (but much improved over the un-refurbished 767-300). Anyway, I was curious if United had also invested in upgraded avionics and other maintenance enhancements to improve and maintain operational reliability and dispatch and if the un-refurbished 3 class birds are less reliable because they are the older product inside and out.
