More to mention, Talledega Speedway itself is on the former Anniston AFB.

Also on the approach to JFK RWY22 is the Belmont horse track.

I had always wondered what the deal was regarding the former runways that are now used for parking/roads in the infield of the racetrack.

LEX is directly across the street from Keeneland.
And after AVL opened in its current location in the early 1960s, its former site became the location of the former Asheville Motor Speedway (now a park).
