Unnamed Airline to introduce Super First Class on 777's in late 2017

Fri Sep 30, 2016 3:09 am

As the title suggests an unnamed airline to introduce Super First Class on factory fresh delivered 777's

As to just how much better, we'll find out in late 2017 when an as-yet-unnamed airline rolls out "proprietary high-end super first class suites" on its factory-fresh Boeing 777 jets.

Could this be EK?

It would coincide with their plans to roll out a new F product on its A380s in 2017.

Well, the usual suspects would be EK, SQ, and EY.

EK most likely as SQ, QR and EY don't have any announced orders. The only other airline with a major 77w order is United and they are moving away from first class.

According to Boeing's Order & Deliveries, all of SQ's 300ERs had been delivered. They are refreshing the cabin products on their fleet but have no spanking new T7s down the line.

Didn't QR just announce a new order for the 777 and the 787? A big publicity splash about a "Super First Class" would be just their style... although I don't know if deliveries are promised as soon as 2017.

i am fairly certain this is EK, this link was at the bottom of the article detailing Emirates new first class is coming in 2017 for the 77W and A380

QR does not even offer First class in the B77W, B787 and A350 fleets, So I don't think it's QR.

I have not heard anything in Emirates, but not long ago they show the new B77W business class seat, and it's almost the same, no big change, however the First class is getting outdated, but I must say that it's very nice but an revamp is always welcome.

What about BA?? however I don't see BA advertising anything as Super First Class.

Could this be TK?
They do not operate First Class yet but maybe they want to? (they did operate F a while ago on 9W leased 77Ws).

I can't think of a flight long enough in order to enjoy something like this. I could easily, and happily hole up for 3 days in one of these! I presume the mystery airline gets the price they want for this suite and make a big margin from it. There guess there are far more rich people in this world than I often think.
