It's interesting how there is no market between two cities and an airline comes in and gives it a try and viola they is suddenly traffic for said route. There doesn't always have to be demand some times their just has to be faith that the product you are providing will attract the business you are trying to attract. I have nothing but gratitude for Frontier for trying something new with their out of the box thinking at DTW when adding new service if only more carriers would take this approach at Detroit this might be a real exciting market. Low fares stimulate traffic. That being said, I've often thought DL should pay more attention to ISP. As a former resident of Suffolk County (where ISP is located), I would take any airline there in a heartbeat to avoid driving into the city for a flight from LGA or JFK.
