The Heathrow-com web site provides all the numbers you could want about the airport..
In summary passenger numbers in 2016 totalled 75.7 M with 94 per cent on international flights and 25.7 M or 30 per cent making a transfer at the airport. Less relevant are the number of passengers (31.9 million) and the number of flights (216,861) using T5 LHR in 2016.
The Airport Coordination Ltd web site provides data on weekly LHR slots. It says that at start of 2016 Summer Season BA operated 5,063 or 52.5 per cent of the total of 9,618 weekly slots. At the start of the 2015 Winter Season these numbers had been 4,834, 52.4 per cent of the 9,218 total.
Two things to note here. The total number of weekly slots is always lower in the Winter Season than in the Summer Season. Also both these BA slot numbers include the 'remedy' slots that the airline had to surrender to increase competition after their purchase of BD. At these points in time they had been surrendered and returned to BA (by VS's Little Red) and not yet taken up (by flybe).
The equivalent LHR weekly slot numbers from a year earlier were 4,921 out of 9,618 (51.2 cent) and 4,752 out of 9,256 (51.3 per cent). These numbers do not include the remedy slots that were then being used by Little Red. So they are arguably more relevant to the future,
