AA934: Diverted to FLL ?

Today's American Airlines AA934 on route from Buenos Aires EZE to Miami MIA diverted immediately to FLL after a go-around from Runway 8R at MIA.

What I found interesting was that all the other flights inbound to MIA landed as usual, which leads me to think this was not a weather issue. Considering the short distance from MIA to FLL, and the airport being operational, what could be the reason the Captain decided this diversion to FLL ?

driving by FLL noticed an AA 777 at remote location with an ambulance.

Anyone know why AA704 CLT FRA (A332) Squawked 7700 and returned to CLT with a total flight time of 58 Min?

Also AA866 SXM CLT diverted to Mia, not a good day to divert to MIA since weather there has been messy.

A lot of flights today enroute to MIA were diverted, including AF90 (A388), JJ8094 (B77W), etc.

AA934 was a weather diversion. Due to heavy rain around 6 PM, visibility was down to 1/2 mile at MIA. There were also diversions to RSW and NAS.

CLT-bound flights AA830 and AA866 diverted to MIA to recrew. These diversions were independent of the weather and had been planned in advance.
