They run quite a bit of charter flights, but for days at a time when passing by MLB i'll see some of their planes parked at gate flying nowhere. I want to say for about 2 weeks now, they've had one of their CRJ-700's parked near STS just sitting there.

But guess what seems to have disappeared.
Still on their route map & list of destinations...but Bimini (BIM) is no longer bookable
Are they gone?

Sure looks like it, these route cancellations from Elite happen too much here at MLB (ISP, APF and now BIM)

These routes would work if they were priced like an ULCC, but for what they are charging I don't see the draw to fly on them.

I'm guessing during summer they also have a lot of down time because they're not flying any college sports charters.

MLB-EYW seems in line with what 3M charges on MCO-EYW.

Actually 12. Of those, two CRJ 200s and two CRJ 700s are not operational. Two of the 700s do the Laughlin charters.

I wonder how do their flight crews deal with all these schedule changes/cancellations. Do they keep moving? Do they commute on other airlines? I mean they fligh to smaller airports. Do they have enough hours each month to survive? Made decent money?

I'm seeing PWM-EYW starting Oct 19....however, I don't see anything in the opposite direction

Also, since F9 is starting PWM to both TPA & RSW, will it effect 7Q's PWM-SRQ flight?

EYW-PWM would surely need an intermediate stop, no?

Probably stops in MLB, but not bookable round trip even with a stop.

As for PWM-SRQ being affected by PWM-TPA/RSW, probably not. Just like how JFK-SRQ isn't affected by JFK-TPA/RSW.

I was thinking that...but still not sure why it wouldn't be bookable as a 1-stop

PWM-EYW is one-stop through MLB, op on Fri.

Right now, the routing doesn't make sense: MLB-PWM-MLB-EYW-MLB.

I thought it was 13 CRJs in the fleet: 8 x CRJ100/200s and 5 x CRJ700s

The 700s are all ex-LH while the 100/200s are a mixed bag.
Flown in: A20N,A21N,A30B,A306,A310,A319,A320,A321,A332,A333,A343,A346,A359,A388,BA11,BU31,(..56 more types..),VC10,WESX

Oh yes..I see that now.....sorry folks.

By the way...PWM-SRQ-PWM...random routing...roundtrip was $588 :biting:

So, according to the OAG thread

7Q AVL-VRB SEP 0.3>0.0[0.3]
7Q HPN-VRB SEP 0.3>0.0[0] OCT 0.3>0[0]
*7Q ISP-MLB SEP 0>0.3[0] OCT 0>0.3[0] NOV 0>0.3[0] DEC 0>0.3[0]
*7Q PWM-VRB SEP 0.3>0.0[0] OCT 0.3>0[0] NOV 0.3>0[0] DEC 0.3>0[0

WOW....I would have thought PWM-VRB was a winner

I think they get a decent amount of charter work as well.

Their web site was updated this past week to show it won't begin Rochester service or PHX-IFP service, but does shows the following, including a return to ISP.

NEW: Long Island MacArthur/Islip to Melbourne, FL with connecting service to Bimini in the Bahamas, flies twice weekly on Thurs. & Sun. starting Sept. 6
NEW: Melbourne to Key West, FL flies twice-weekly on Mon. and Fri. starting Oct. 19
REVISED: Newark to Vero Beach, FL regularly scheduled at four days a week (Thu, Fri, Sun, Mon), adjusts to twice-weekly during Sept. and Oct.; resumes to four days a week in Nov; adds daily flights in Dec. during the last two holiday weeks
REVISED: Portland, ME to Sarasota, FL regularly scheduled at two days a week (Sun. & Thu.) adds Mon. & Fri. during the last two holiday weeks in Dec.
REVISED: Vero Beach to Asheville, NC regularly scheduled at two days a week (Thu. & Sun.) pauses starting Sept. 3 and resumes Oct. 18; concludes for the season Nov. 4
REVISED: Portland, ME to Orlando/Melbourne, FL regularly scheduled at two days a week (Mon & Fri) extended through the holidays to Jan. 7
CONCLUDES FOR THE SEASON: Vero Beach, FL to Portland, ME regularly scheduled at two days a week (Thu & Sun) comes to its scheduled conclusion Sept. 2
CONCLUDES FOR THE SEASON: Vero Beach, FL to White Plains, NY regularly scheduled at two days a week (Fri & Mon) comes to its scheduled conclusion Sept. 3
CONCLUDES FOR THE SEASON: Albany, NY to Myrtle Beach, SC regularly scheduled at two days a week (Sun & Thu) comes to its scheduled conclusion Sept. 30

Probably announce a new route. Then, when G4 or F9 announce it, they'll pull out. :duck:

If anyone from the airline is watching this forum....

The whole operation should be gone IMO.

They are a joke much like OneJet. Not surprised they dropped EYW already.

I am surprised they aren't out of business yet. How do they make money to stay in business this long?

Sorry, that is what I meant. They dropped it before starting it.

There have been a few others that I referenced before just don't recall off the top of my head. I think a city in Colorado and New Jersey but don't remember.
