LH A380 At PHL Today

Due to what I presume is rain in NYC, looks like LH 400 an A380 just landed at PHL.

Wonder if this is the first time an A380 has visited.

Yup. It was on the ground for about 1:30 and then left for JFK.

Nope, at least 1 other. An Emirates 380 landed at PHL.

As a mere matter of curiosity, not wanting to question the pilots: Why would they go past NYC instead of landing at BOS or someplace where they wouldn´t have to backtrack?

Boston had quite a packed house already, including the normal BA A380 in at around 1:30
