The aircraft is stuck in the grass, does not appear to be damaged. Visibility is low as well.

There seem to be a lot of planes circling in the ocean just off of HKG. They're suffering delays all right

Does anyone know if a regular tug would get it out, or do they need a specialised vehicle?

Here's an article for anyone who's interested.. It also has a graphic of the aircraft's flight path prior to the incident.

There's been so much rain in HKG that schools have actually been canceled. And just yesterday, CX532 to Nagoya was evacuated following a fuel spill. http://m.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/econom ... ernational

Rough couple of days at HKG. I'm glad I left on Sunday before all the fun started!

I'm in the CX lounge in HKG at the moment. Black rain storm was announced around 10am. Visibility was terrible.

Weather has now improved moderately and things slowly getting back to order. Both runways back in use.

07R was momentarily blocked due to a CX B748F occupying the runway for unknown reasons. It was towed off by a tow car.
Rain seems to be restarting.
