Lets perform a survey-how did you, as a forum member created the username? Pandora is a Swedish singer I like.

Want to know how to pronounce it? Tygue is Tiger without the 'er'.

Tygue was going to be my real name, actually. It has no relation to aviation in any way   I just use it because I think it is a lot more creative and original that the name I was given: Matt. But i'm not complaining.

Mine is simple enough. I am from South Africa, hence SAA. 747B refers to the Classic 742's in SAA 's fleet. This is how the name appears on the fuselage (instead of 747-200B). In the case of the one remaining combi it is simply 747B"Combi".

Well, I work for Horizon Air on Dash-8 (and Fokker-28) aircraft....hence my username :-) I was going to go with Fokkersaurus Rex in honor of the F-28, but decided to keep it shorter with Dash8tech, easier to type in the block!

Cheers

I chose Boeing 757/767 because I have written a recently published book called "Boeing 757 and 767." Check it out on the on-line bookstores. It's also in aviation catalogues and has just been reviewed by Airways magazine. Incidentally, many Airliners.net photogs are featured in the book, and I thank this site for helping me build a very visual, 200-page book.

NAIMAS is a 15th century enchanted marrionette in a story I wrote.

He was a wizard, but lost a battle with a witch and was cursed (as well as an entire army with him) into turning into little marrionettes and puppets who she then cast off a cliff in Ireland into the sea.

But Naimas is saved by a young boy wandering the rocks who keeps him, and the adventure begins.

TranStar, from my favorite airline name. Those who don't remember or know, it started as Muse Air and was purchased by Southwest and renamed TranStar. Had a great livery and a cool name and was sorry to see it go.

My favorite widebody jet is the L-1011. On the original forum, it wouldn't let me have L-1011 for a user name, so I tried L1011, and it worked. I've kept that name ever since I joined the forum last September.

Well when I arrived to this forum I checked out that most fans had a favourite airplane, so I picked the nice Convair CV990, because not many were built, it was sleek and the fastest airplane after the Concorde and also to pay a tribute to those guys of Convair, and finnally because I enjoy a lot seeing the first generation jets, I grew up with them!

TP343 because TAP-Air Portugal and A340-300 are the name of the airline and of the plane that I most fly per year.

I picked N777UA because it is the reg for the first UA 777 and first 777 to enter service. My fascination with the 777 and United? United is my favorite airline, and the 777 is the sweetest bird in the sky!

Hi!!I really like Boeing 777s. It's my favourite airliner and I started to get interested in airlines just before it was launched. Then I started to work for United Airlines a few months before UA took delivery of their first 777.I make it my mission to fly on all carriers operating Boeing 777s and so far I've been on 18 out of 23. Still have to fly on Malaysia, Air China, Aeroflot, Air Europe and EgyptAir, but I'm planning to go on these soon. A friend from Spain gave me the nickname The777Man a few years ago and I like it. My other nickname is Numbers since I check registrations and also check airline schedules.The777Man

My name is in two parts. The first is the school I attend - Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. The second is the type of plane that I fly there - a version of the PA-28-161 Cherekee known as the Piper Cadet. It's that simple. In January, I will start flying Piper Arrows in my instrument/ commercial course, so maybe then I'll change my name.

757- one of my many fave aircrafts, and I like just Boeing aircrafts... and yes, I don´t like Airbus... I don´t know why...

I got my user name from United Airlines because it is my most favorite airline in the whole world and 747 because it is my favorite airplane. This combination makes the name United747.

Cedarjet is the ICAO callsign for Middle East Airlines of Lebanon, partly cos I admire them for maintaining normal (and very good quality, service, food etc) airline services to and from Beirut throughout a fifteen year war that was for the most part as full-on as Kosovo or Vietnam. And they are the only airline I've ever flown on with 707s (recently retired). I've mentioned this here before but their Beirut hub had to be seen to be believed - until the A320s and 21s arrived last year, it was wall-to-wall 707s, operating like any medium sized hub with passenger flights from all over Europe and Africa to the west, and the Gulf, Singapore and Australia to the east. But all the planes were mint condition red and white 707s, taxiing in and out of the stands and queuing on the run-up pad. It could have been 1968. The fleet was kept on during the war because of the low insurance premiums, and cash for renewal after the war was scarce, so the early to mid ninties were prime years for the type (plus three 747-200s that flew to Paris and Singapore / Sydney). The 707 is my favourite airliner (along with the 747 Classic), Beirut one of my favourite cities.

I think I tried my dogs names, but they were already used. I sat here thinking and thinking...the smoke was coming out of my ears, and then I realized, it was a Sunday, so I picked the German word for Sunday-Sontag. (long o sound, and "ah" sound for the a)

My favourite airline in the world is (you guessed it..) TWA. I know they're getting A320s and A318s, I'm hoping they'll make a family of it, and add A319s (and A321s) too!

I chose FirstClass! because I wanted a different name genre (rather than naming myself something after an airplane) but still dealing w/ the aviation industry. This does not have anything to do w/ me liking first class though.
