Virgin Atlantic flying Stockholm - Chicago??
Currently sitting at ORD and saw and incredibly rare site, a Virgin 747 landing at ORD. Looked it up and appears to be VS9971 from ARN. Any idea what it's doing here?

there have been several Virgin 747 charters this past week to several US cities...DTW.. Columbus OH and DFW come to mind. Charters for State Farm Insurance company.

I`ve always found Virgin cabin crew first rate, hopefully they`ve done State Farm & themselves proud

Air Canada flew a Rouge 763 on MSY-ARN for State Farm, as well.

They flew one last night as VI9972, DFW-STL-ARN.
Anyone know why they're flying all of these people to Sweden? Some sort of junket as a sales incentive, maybe?

Air Partner is one of those middle men companies for air charter. Contracted by State Farm, I suspect. My guess is some sort of sales junket.
My company is spending an obscene amount of money to send 500 people or so to SYD as an incentive. We used a similar company.

Air Transat also operated a flight with an A330. It did SAT-OKC-ARN on the outbound followed by ARN-MSP-DEN on the inbound. Currently sitting in DEN but will be leaving shortly back to YYZ.

Based on Air Transat's seating, I assume the folks on these flights were not the stellar performers compared to those who got the Virgin Atlantic 747.
