The rest are okay. I think my problem with the list is that there is no theme to the names. It's like Qantas' marketing people just came up with a list of random Australiana plonked them on aircraft. I preferred Qantas' previous regime of using themes. My favourite were the 737-300 inspirational names, and the 737-400 bird names.

Some interesting choices....
The OCD in me hates the lack of a coherent theme.
Uluru, GBR, waltzing Matilda and GSL are cool. Quokka, Dreamtime and Boomerang okayretro . Skippy however? retro yes!
At least we didn't end up with Pavlova, Kylie or Priscila....
Reminds me of that British Antarctic ship ship named 'McBoaty' or whatever.....

IceHouse would be proud...maybe they can follow it up with "Electric Blue."

Standing at the limit of an endless ocean
Stranded like a runaway, lost at sea
City on a rainy day down in the harbour
Watching as the grey clouds shadow the bay
Looking everywhere 'cause I had to find you
This is not the way that I remember it here
Anyone will tell you its a prisoner island
Hidden in the summer for a million years

Please don't get me wrong, but the ME-llinials are over rated.

Alan Joyce has said they had that many worthwhile names suggested that they could rename the entire fleet of 208 aircraft

Qantas have 208 aircraft? Wow! Can somebody produce a complete fleet list? They had so many good names to choose from and they picked those instead?
It reminds me of Lucy, recovering from a bout of amnesia: Confronting a high school friend she says: "Here comes 'drippy' again!" YEEES! he raves! "You mean I called you 'drippy'? (Whereupon she wins a bet.)
