Over the past week Privilege Style has been operating its 772ER EC-MIA on a series of MAD-SCL-MAD rotations, as flights PU501/502.

Curious if these flights are done on behalf of other airline (Iberia?), or some other purpose?

Thanks!

Chile is popular with older people doing up market tours and then the tag on cruise out to Easter Island. Cox and Kings a UK up market tour company use them. The Privilege Style 777 would be a nice way to get there.

These flights are on behalf of the airline Plus Ultra, which has scheduled flights three times per week from Madrid to Santiago de Chile. The 772 is a temporary lease until 4th August. On 7th August it should go to an A340-300. Plus Ultra is a small airline with currently 3 A340-300 in its fleet, used for long-haul charter flights and for scheduled flights to Havana, Lima and Santiago de Chile

At the present moment, Plus Ultra is operating flights for Cubana and Boliviana, so they only have one aircraft to operate their own scheduled flights, thus the need to lease this 777.
