Any idea why they would fly out of GRR instead of AZO?

Possibly ground equipment? Does AZO have tugs, etc. for mainline equipment? AZO has a 6500 ft runway which should be enough I think for a 737 with football players and cargo. But maybe runway plus length of flight and big football dudes and cargo made it more marginal.

This game originally in HOU, moved to MSY due to flooding
Found 4 flights, 3 Sun Country 738 and a Delta A320 (team?)

Thanks. Any idea when the return is, airline, or flight #? I assume they turn around and fly home after the game?

Yes they almost always fly home right after the game, usually two hours or so after. I don't see where that plane left EUG after it dropped them off so must still be there. Don't see anything on flightaware just yet but keep checking the scheduled departures for EUG and their flight back should show up soon.

Thanks, I couldn't find it when I looked the first time.
Not that it would help much today, because the smoke is so thick I doubt you could see anything at all.

Guess the airlines not liking HBG's 6100 foot runway any more, GPT is a pretty good bus ride from the school. I remember a few years back when Southern Miss flew to Boise State out of HBG on an ATA L-1011doubt we'll see anything like that again.
