F9 should cancel CMH-TPA and start CMH-SRQ, why compete with 3 other airlines on the route?

If I'm not mistaken, DL hasn't flown this since about 1996.....it was twice a day on the weekend (Sa & Su)
Boeing 727 would do BOS-SRQ-BOS-SRQ-BOS

Are they about to launch ATL-TPA/SRQ/RSW?

Wow. Just saw that on their website!
But would that route be even viable for F9, unless it’s daily?
Obviously Delta has the business people and connection passengers locked down. Other then my friend, how many regular joes go just to Atlanta???

I seen none of those routes available on F9’s site.

I didn't say they were AVAILABLE. They're in the airport pulldowns.....SRQ-PHL was the same about 3 weeks ago.
I simply speculated:
Are they about to launch ATL-TPA/SRQ/RSW?
Time will tell

SRQLOT wrote:Just saw something I have not seen yet at SRQ. An airliner take off from runway 4. That runway 4-22 is only 5,000 feet long, and I never knew that it was a possibility as SRQ was limited to 14-32 for airline operations. It was an AA flight 4469 to DC, aircraft E75S.

Jetblue makes some adds to these routes:
JFK-TPA
BOS-TPA
BOS-SRQ

LOL....They don't even have Aug numbers on their website yet !

So you are right, talk of it being Allegiant to Baltimore and Ashville in North Carolina. Not as big as the rumors were initially, but I guess still something.
CMHSRQ wrote:New flights with new destinations is great news. It will keep the passenger counts rising. Still no CMH - SRQ which is so surprising. I guess the WN, Spirit, and Allegiant flights to TPA, PIE, PGD, and RSW have it covered.
SRQLOT wrote:Of course! Definitely all new flights and new routes are welcome and exciting. Still thought! Not the cities I was hoping for lol
