If you zoom in very closely, it appears as though you can see the four lines which form the wing of the crane, the body below and the outline of a circle. If that is indeed the case, the crane appears to be quite small and placed quite low down on the vertical stabilizer. The color which can be seen on the tail also looks quite dark indeed.
If the crane really is there (and nothing else but pure blue on the tail), this is gonna be completely inbalanced! Will look awful IMHO!

Closer observation would appear LH have followed MH foot steps going with a dark tone and the crane is white![]()

They say it’s silver.
Honestly? I like the latest renderings. It might look fantastic on the A350.
The A380 looks like an UTA-remembrance jet.

The crane appears stylized but the position of those lines matches the current one almost exactly. A quick overlay looks something like this (using the current crane design):

I bet, nobody in the Board of Directors at Lufty has the cojones to put his signature under this design...![]()
Having said that, maybe there is another plastic cover under the plastic cover
Bambel wrote:CarbonFibre wrote:Have you tried looking in the gap between the fin and the rudder?
That could indeed be the crane... But the coating covers everything else.

Negative...latest landing possible is 23:59local due to the night curfew at FRA.
It is pitch black by then...true...LH526 wrote:
Well...it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would be...still this all white fuselage doesn't appeal to me right away...

2259loc actually.
Although they could apply for one of the limited availability night slots. I'm just not sure that would be worth the hassle.
