'dead' Airlines That Are Planning A Come Back?

Sun Feb 24, 2002 5:11 am

Hi,

Recently there's been talk of Canada 3000 and Royal returning to the skies, but are any other defunct airlines planning the same?

I heard a rumour that Gill were looking to make a come back- any through?

Cheers

Canada 3000 is no longer in the race to get back in the air. SkyService and Conquest Vacations are filling the void left by C3 before it has a chance to get back in the air. Royal on the other hand is also trying to get backin the air. Along with CanJet.
If you wanted to read up on the Conquest deal with SkyService you can read it in another topic here.

I heard United Airlines (which died but they forgot to bury) is thinking of "Rising" again! Their "friendly Skies" suffered a massive coronary which lead to their death.

Hi:

Aero Peru pretends to fly again but they nedd a lot of capital. The last possibility was with Continental Airlines in 2000 but they suspend the negociations because political problems in Peru. Now Aero Peru has two Boeing 727-200Adv. and one Boeing 737-200 parked at Lima International Airport.

Best regards
