Just look at the route map, or if you go on their website the schedule is extended through August 6th I believe.

About time we got OAK. I really wonder when WN plans to do anything from BNA. Such as, to IND and ATL. I'd love to know their timeline on that.

I can see them adding OAK first as it seems like WN is focusing on competition markets first (Bay area), and monopoly areas later.

WN adds three new nonstop routes from Oakland (OAK):

−San Antonio (SAT) begins July 8, 2018
−Indianapolis (IND) begins July 16, 2018
−Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP) begins July 16, 2018

MKE looks like the pretty standard summer schedule including the resumption of SFO, SAN and SEA. SEA this summer will have mainline Delta, mainline Southwest and E75 Alaska. I'm pretty sure SEA will end with the fall schedule but it will be interesting to see if SFO and SAN continue on.

The other thing is a MAX finally makes it to MKE, one of the LAS flights. The morning MKE-DCA and evening DCA-MKE is a 175-seat 800 as well which is good to see.

So far other than IND-OAK I haven't found anything notable new or ending in the schedule.

This article vaguely hints at STL-IND by saying WN wants to expand in short hop midwestern routes after discussing the new STL-CLE route.

I doubt IND-STL is going to happen, I think WN seems to be overflying STL on a lot of routes now out of IND (LAX, PHX, OAK, SAN, LAS, DEN, MCI, DAL, AUS, and HOU).

1x daily (mon-sun), will have to wait until official press release to see whether it will be year-round...

That makes UA (2x daily), VX (1x daily), and WN (1x daily) from IND to Bay Area this summer, pretty impressive...

Looks like Flint bites the dust with this schedule. GRR and GSP (two other routes which went to short-hub hub-feed flights the same tine Flint did) are still there.

Wichita might be in trouble -- flights all show "sold out" with the new schedule. I've never seen Southwest have that before -- usually flights are there and for sale or gone. Seems like a glitch but we'll see if the fix adds available seats to those flights or removes the flights (and thus ICT).

EDIT
Wichita has capacity for sale now. I tried multiple markets / multiple days and everything was sold out 15 minutes ago. All appears normal now. So far Flint is the only drop I'm finding.

I did some more digging at the MSP adds. DAL is Sunday-only. Seems strange.
OAK does not start until mid-July, instead of June. Is this when Hawaii will start up? Arrival in to OAK is 9:35 AM.

Edit: Did a search of all available MSP city pairs for 7/18/18 to match up where flights arrive from and depart to. I have a gap in all the MSP flights. WN159 arrives from MDW at 16:20. However, it does not turn out of MSP (basis 35-45 minute turns, matching flight #'s, etc within the MSP schedule). So, perhaps a flight is missing. I could speculate DAL did not load correctly (not really a Sunday only) and should turn out of MSP at 16:55, arriving DAL 19:25. Turn back at 20:00 and RON. I'm missing a RON flight in the schedule too. I show six flights which RON and the MSP-OAK flight does not have a flight arriving to match up at 7:35AM.

I feel like Hawaii will be its own announcement and NOT the standard schedule extension. Guessing we know in a month or so. When it starts is anyone's guess too.
Like I said in an earlier post, I think this is why MSP has a flight to OAK but the flight does not start with the earliest date (June 7th) in this current extension. Rather, it starts mid-July. Arrives OAK at 9:35AM. Perfect to hop on a connection at 10:30 for the islands.

Quoting myself here...

After looking again at the schedule, the flight from OAK arrives MSP at 15:55. Using the standard 35 minute turn times at MSP for WN, there is no flight this plane turns to. I was incorrect in stating it was WN159 from MDW.

Why is everyone looking for HI flights?

The only announcement was that WN will start selling HI flights in 2018. Never any indication of when service will start.

I'm not seeing any major changes for MSY, however there are a lot of Sunday additions, giving Sundays 9 more departures than weekdays. In addition to Sunday-only RDU, PIT, IND, CMH, SMF, and SJC, there's a 2nd PHX, MCI, SAT, a 3rd STL and DEN, 4th BNA. That's partially offset by two fewer HOU and one fewer DAL on the weekends for a total of 65 Sunday departures and 56 weekday.

Odd to keep MKE to SFO instead of OAK. I guess they figure they have a niche there with no UA or AS/VX service, so take advantage of it while they can.

It seems that markets like GSP and RIC are hanging on by the hairs on their head. The same could be said for FNT, and this morning they unfortunately joined the small list of cities/airports that WN has ever terminated.

I’m happy that ISP got some more flights, anyone know what it’s like at MHT?

Looks like some big wins for Alaska in here...

SFO-SNA reduced from 6 to 3...is this the only intra California market where Alaska has more frequency than Southwest now?

Both SNA and SAN to SJD are showing as exited
LAX to CUN and PVR are showing as exited

Southwest lost 7 slots at SNA in the 2018 reallocation. The only question about cuts there were which routes.

Looks like nothing new for CMH, though CMH-OAK remains on the map, so I'm guessing it was just a temporary victim of the Winter pulldown like STL was.

Just a quick glance, it appears MHT maybe lost a BWI and MCO frequency. BWI is 7 and MCO is 1. Not sure what they were in July 2017 though. Maybe MCO was just 1 then too.

PVD looks mostly whole. BWI is at 8 frequencies which might be down one. Don't like seeing a single FLL frequency, but maybe it's still good since they aren't the only one serving the route.

BOS looks stable with frequencies and several -800 upgrades.
