Dang that's pretty ugly; it looks like it was thrown together on MS Paint in 30 seconds. I actually liked the font on the old livery and the 'UT' logo on the tail.

Why didn't they capitalize the T in the title either? Now it looks like their name is one word "utair" and not "UT-air".

It looks like it reads Utair, pronounced "Ootair". Not that UTair doesn't already sound like it plays off of UTI...

Yeah that’s dull. Design of the stylised “U” and the font aren’t so bad though. It’s just the overall blandness, with so much white. Maybe they should’ve had a blue tail with the stylised “U” in white fading in-out...

New colours, new colours, don't go so fast. Lets see Lots of white and some dark blue, quite different from what they had until now. As for livery, well, this is nowhere near to be considered as a livery. Even my dictionary says that: https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/livery

There is no official information from UTair about any changes of liveries or their corporate identity. However, it is clear that this public nuisance had really been physically comitted at the Ostrava, Czechia outlet of Eirtech Aviation.

Short lease livery. Easy to change to whatever the lessor requires when they go back.
Long leases are normally the ones where airlines indulge themselves. This rather horrible livery is simple and could be changed quickly, and at lower cost.

I actually like it. I like the font and the blue. Sure it is not a work of art, but those days have since sailed. It is pretty on the money modern.

The reality is, this is a real tangible livery. The airline is not an extravagant full service carrier. People's preference for the livery does nothing to impact the bottom line. This is far closer to the norm in 2017 than the other end of the spectrum.
