Goose Bay airport is shut down, except for emergencies

This is due to runway issues with the sealant that was applied to cracks.

And I read this *right after* reading that AF66 is still stuck there... great.

Goose Bay has 2 runways. I assume that both are affected.

Not very good news when at this time of the year the only way in or out is by air.

Must be as both runways are plenty long at YYR.

They'll have to vote on it or something. Part of PlanAçtîon2045 along with a 1% increase in working hours.

I'm more interested in the fact that delta landed here and was out of here with a new engine in less than a week.

I would think that the AF bird is far more damaged especially considering the leading edge damage.
