Southwest 737 MAX BWI Routes December 2017
Does anyone know what routes out of BWI Southwest will operate the Boeing 737 MAX 8 on during the month of December 2017? I’m trying to take a day trip on a 737 MAX, but I don’t want anything too far, both for distance and pricing reasons. I would say anywhere east of Chicago or Texas.

Probably not a good idea to book based on the aircraft, since Southwest frequently swaps types.

Constantly swapping them out for 738's. You'd really be rolling the dice to get one right now.

Although we don’t have any set routes for it, most of them seem to be doing the “long haul” routes. Like any other new a/c there have been some teething issues with it as well, and they’ve been subbed out for a 738.

Even the crews don't find out if it's going to be a max until the aircraft gets assigned to the flight number.

I've booked like 4 MAX flights recently and none were MAX, all 738. The airplanes are fine, they are just constantly swapped for operational needs.
Out of BWI I see a lot going to places like LAX and LAS, but have seen some FLL, MCO, ATL, etc.
