Air Deccan restarts Indian operations after 9 years

Air Deccan restarted their operations today in India.

Well, some of the "common man" have started flying, thanks to Air Deccan. But, I hope they don't come up with the same old Rs.1 tickets that probably doomed them the 1st time. Already there are competitive fares everywhere. Hope they take advantage of the right sectors and be successful this time.

I enjoyed air Deccan the last time around. Hopefully they don’t get sold into a kingfisher style disaster this time around

Air Deccan V2 may need a sounder ops and business strategy; both Indigo and Spice are angling to play in this space.

Agree.. a 19 seater aircraft may be less competitive.. Indigo or Spicejet may dump capacity and kill their feeds
