Since the aircraft is usually used for ferrying head of state, pretty sure they will fix it.

The following are stored at DMK:
HS-TLA A340-541 MSN 624
HS-TLB A340-541 MSN 628
HS-TLD A340-541 MSN 775
HS-TYV (formerly HS-TLC MSN 698) is still currently registered under Royal Thai Armed Force, however recent picture shows that the wordings have been removed from the aircraft. Not sure what future behold for her.
Utapao:
HS-TNA A340-642 MSN 677
HS-TNB A340-642 MSN 681
HS-TNC A340-642 MSN 689
HS-TND A340-642 MSN 710
HS-TNE A340-642 MSN 719
HS-TNF A340-642 MSN 953
Thai Airways attempted numerous time to offload all ten A340, however failed miserably.

Thank you very much for that info.
I really wonder what will become of them... Sold one by one or all together for dirt cheap (with selling for cheap being a no no at TG)? Go to Iran? Scrapped? I'd love TG to bring them back on the 744 routes as the 744s leave... Such a sad life for these birds atm...

The aircraft is now at AR's hangar #5 @ EZE waiting for its flight to Tarbes–Lourdes–Pyrénées Airport in France to be stored. It was supposed to leave last Thursday (8/3) but the airline and the lessor still have a few differences to iron out.

Lufthansa A340-313X D-AIFA seems to be a toast too, not holding my hope high.

Not sure how will they manage the expectation of their J passengers, because the J cabin of -FJO and FJP are vastly differently to those on -FJT, -FJU and -FJV
