Not sure what to make of this unless it's being prepared for sale to someone else. This is a 230t frame, but owned by Gulf Air.

I heard that 6 EY A333 are the next DHL P2F.

Passing through Kuwait the other day, there appear to be at least 3 x A340's standing there in the dark at some kind of storage apron; not doing a whole lot.

What is their fate please?

Most probably used to belong to KU which retired all their four A343 July 2017. All are interested their mid-20s age. Scrapping will most probably be their ultimate fate.

LH's D-AIHA not moving since November 19, LAX-MUC.
Cannot believe she is being phased out.
I also have the 1:200 model of her.

Both above are young-ish 3 years old frame, formerly Skymark Airlines ntu. WOW air has scaled down their widebody operation massively following sustained loss since its introduction. They have cancelled several int'l routes over past few months, heavily discussed in this forum. They have one ex-SQ A333 left TF-GAY MSN 1098.

I don't really see how they can afford to take delivery of four A330neo.

Note:
1. It seems Etihad Airways are drawing down their A330 passenger fleet to make way for B787. 2 A332 and 2 A333 have been returned so far. In future, it can be A320/A321neo for short-medium haul and B787 for long haul. This is a good step towards rehabilitation.
2. MSN 700 EI-GEX, ex-TAM PT-MVL has finally picked up by AtlasGlobal after being storage for past 2.5 years. This aircraft is one of six GE-powered TAM operated before retiring them for B767-300ER.

Those younger ones like MK's recent retirement may find new life with charter airlines. Older ones will be scrapped usually.

I m not surprised if they cancel the order or trade in for future order. Their current widebody fleet especially B77W and A380 are still very young. EY has bitten more than what it can chew. Those grandeur plan of James Hogan never work at first place.
