I saw that on Sam Chui's Instagram story. 4X-EDF. Also, it's noted on planespotters.net:

Its currently on the flightline at CHS undergoing pre-flight tests, first flight shouldn't be too far away, unfortunately CHS is not photo friendly

Catching up to the CRJ 700/900/1000 series (with about 833+ built)

Also, there are now more 787s than 757 in service...

Around when it catches the CRJ700+ it will also beat the A300/A310 (together).

A few things to note on 787 Production

There are currently 6 789's for Hainan in various stages of production (1 flight testing, 2 pre flight testing, 1 in final assembly, 2 with parts arriving - 3 by the end of the week), considering their financial issues with payments on A333's, will be interesting to see how whether these are delivered or not

First 787-10 for United rolled out of final assembly about 10 days ago

First 787-10 for Etihad is now in final assembly

Parts for first 789 for Air Tahiti Nui are currently arriving at CHS

The wave is quite nice, but those 787-numbers look very ANA-ish.

We are now at the point where 789 deliveries have caught up with 788 deliveries at 354 each. There are still 422 789s in the backlog vs 89 for the 788.

Of these 89, they are:
Aeroflot- 18
Air Astana- 3
Air Niugini- 1
Arik Air- 9
Avianca- 1
Azerbaijan Airlines- 5
Bank of Communications Leasing- 2
Biman Bangladesh Airlines- 4
Boeing Capital Corporation- 22
British Airways- 2
Business Jet / VIP Customer(s)- 1
EC Air- 1
El Al- 2
Hainan Airlines- 10
Icelandair- 1
Japan Airlines- 4
Oman Air- 4
Republic of Iraq- 10
Royal Jordanian- 3
Unidentified Customer(s)- 3
Uzbekistan Airways- 2
Total- 89

Of these, should be delivered without any issue:
Air Astana- 3
Air Niugini- 1
Avianca- 1
Azerbaijan Airlines- 5
Bank of Communications Leasing- 2 (depend on who is the customer)
Biman Bangladesh Airlines- 4
Boeing Capital Corporation- 22 (not sure who are the real customer)
Business Jet / VIP Customer(s)- 1
British Airways- 2
El Al- 2
Icelandair- 1
Japan Airlines- 4
Oman Air- 4
Uzbekistan Airways- 2

With doubt:
Aeroflot- 18 (officially cancelled soon?)
Arik Air- 9 (credit issue? as good as dead?)
EC Air- 1 (grounded?)
Hainan Airlines- 10 (credit issue)
Republic of Iraq- 10 (still proceeding?)
Royal Jordanian- 3 (credit issue)
Unidentified Customer(s)- 3 (not sure who are the real customer)

Are AA’s 22 the ones assigned to Boeing Capital? Pretty sure those will get delivered. Would be shocking if 788 doesn’t get to 400 especially with the production changes.

This is the correct list, this one also adds up to 89.

Aeroflot- 18 to be transferred to Russian lessor, likely conversions to 787-9 or -10
Air Astana- 3 delivery delayed until 2021
Air Niugini- 1 uncertain, no recent news about a possible delivery date, see also Icelandair
Avianca- 1
Biman Bangladesh Airlines- 4
Boeing Capital Corporation- 22 (AA)
British Airways- 2
Business Jet / VIP Customer(s)- 1
EC Air- 1 uncertain because of unclear status of the airline
El Al- 2
Icelandair- 1 to be leased to Air Niugini??
Japan Airlines- 4
Oman Air- 4 Reports last year hinted at a conversion to 787-9, I'm surprised this hasn't happened yet
Republic of Iraq- 10 Depends on stability of the country, so it's uncertain but still possible
Royal Jordanian- 3 no current need for more, 1 frame NTU
Unidentified Customer(s)- 3 all recent order, no doubt that they will be delivered as 787-8s
Unidentified Customer – 5 (Azerbaijan Airlines)
Uzbekistan Airways- 4

So that makes 48 reasonably certain future deliveries, this would bring the total over 400. And with the recent increase in orders for the 787-8 + the production improvements it is very likely that there will be more orders to come.

Hi Momo1435, thank you for the correction. Marvelous work you have done. I inadvertently added Arik Air and Bank of Communications Leasing into the mix, despite both are for B787-9. I think Uzbekistan Airways has two ready for delivery, so left with another two "undelivered" (not in production yet). For Azerbaijan Airlines, do they have an extra 5 listed as unidentified customer? I can't seem to tally with the excel.

The Azerbaijan assumption for the unidentified order is actually from Uresh / NYC787 spreadsheet -> tab unidentified orders. The order was announced at the Dubai Airshow last year, but it wasn't firmed as an identified Azerbaijan Airlines order. Theoretically it could be another order, but that's not likely.

20 hour flight ! Departed CHS 6.35 pm local time Thursday, arrives SIN 2.35 am Saturday. Going back a decade, delivery flights spanning 3 days were quite rare, mainly limited to the NZ 777 ferries PAE-AKL and TG ferries PAE-BKK which would usually leave late evening Seattle time and arrive early hours local time at AKL/BKK 2 days later.

13th and final 787-9 for KLM for now. Last 8 787s on order for KL will be 787-10s.
Allthough I fully expect AF/KL group to convert options for additional 787-9s for KL as replacement for their A330s.

It is one of the 787-10 test aircraft (LN 548 or 565). It is painted all white except for the Boeing name/logo on the lower fuselage behind 1L, which you just barely see in the photo.
