Thanks, so that means only 2 A321's delivered during all of Q4 2018? so at year end 12/31/2018 they will have a total of 65 A321's on hand? Is it 4 of the 737-900ER that are being delivered during Q4 2018?
Yes, only 2x 321s. 5x 739s have already been delivered in Q4 (3905-3909), and 3910 should enter induction this month as well.

Do you know which ship is taking her place? My guess is 7001...
Edit: It probably won`t be 7001......

7002. 7001 won't be until after the 1st of the year, once 7003 finishes.

I think the first three types are number correct, but I believe that 4 A330-900neos will be coming next year. They will be registered N401DZ, N402DX, N403DN and N404DL, with fleet #s 3401, 3402, 3403 and 3404 respectively.

3403 and 3404 should be N403DX and N404DX respectively. The other registrations you mentioned are no longer reserved by Delta.

Given that the ERs are being done first, with the LRs to follow, your wish is unlikely to happen.
The timing makes sense--the ERs have older existing furnishings, shorter remaining life, and the LRs will have the cabin they're getting now for as long as a decade.

Don't the ERs have newer interiors than the LRs? The LRs were delivered with the lie flat seats, while the ERs were retrofitted shortly after the LRs were delivered.

Rookie here but been lurking in the shadows for a while. DP for those interested. I'm booked early May ATL-AMS and mid May JNB-ATL. The seat map on the app shows the old 777 config on both flights but if I click on the aircraft details, the ATL-AMS 777ER shows the updated Delta One config. Under the same scenario the JNB-ATL shows the existing 777LR config. Trying to duplicate booking through the app or website still shows the herringbone config. I'm hopeful they will have both 777's updated by then by at least this hints to me that all the ER will be completed by then. It certainly appears that way based on how the ER is moving through the shop but I haven't seen a schedule online or by you pros yet so I'm unaware.

You will be on the refurbished 77E on your AMS flight, however you're highly likely to be on the old 77L configuration on the JNB flight. There would have to be an equipment swap of some sort to get onto the refurbed.

I''m curious to know if the P2 mod has already been done. Why would it continue flying instead of being sent to SAL? It makes no sense to me to keep the mod line open with no aircraft being modded! I pity the poor folks who end up flying on it with no IFE and Power Ports if that's the case.

So I just looked into this... Looked up N327NW`s last flight which was DL2037 JFK-AUS. Then I went on the Delta App, went to "flight status", put in DL2037, it gives you the amenities of that particular flight. It says the plane that operated on the flight tonight has charging capabilities, AVOD, etc. So I think its done already....

It is not modded. It is covering for a 319 that's still in SAL. It'll ferry to SAL early January.

Thanks for the update! I'm assuming the 319 is N338NW (I scoured the entire fleet on Flightaware).

The reg is actually N338NB, as N338NW is an A320! All the A319 mods were finished 18 months ago, so this one is there for mx.

Kind of surprised to have the retirements right in the middle of the holiday rush.

It's not ideal but the green time left on these frames know no holidays.

Suties, PE, and Economy. Not clear how many seats will be in each cabin. Flew on one about a month ago now, my god does it need this refit.

Any idea how long until it will be done with the retrofit?

1805 is only getting a check, 1804 will be the prototype, and it'll ferry to CAN sometime next week.
They will also be in a 4 class configuration, D1, PE, C+ and main. The 7HBs and HDs will be going through a P2 mod to add C+ sometime in early 2019.

Ah ok, thanks for the clarification. Any plans to install C+ into the 350s?
