It's at the MoU stage at the moment, but it will be firmed (see below).

Yes, but it looks like TK has decided on what they want and how many so now they just need to line up the financing and finalize the actual sales contract terms with both OEMs. So I think we can safely consider this one a "done deal".

Last month they were also late, we have to see over the next months if there will be a fixed date when they report them. Last month it was on the 2nd Tuesday, if it's the same this month they will publish it later today.

So to counter Airbus's 5th quarter, Boeing now has a 5th week every month? :duck:

2nd Tuesday of the month = Boeing order update day.

Good to see some more 777Fs, Boeing already said between the lines they were expecting more orders this year.

What happened to 24 737 MAX orders subtracted from the total and equaling the count for "unidentified customers"? Was there a recent order/orders for two dozen subsequently cancelled? Just wondering, thanks.

Perhaps Monarch? They ordered 30 so perhaps the Russian airline only took 6.

The Monarch orders were already gone last year, they were just cancelled.

The biggest part of the new 737 cancellations are by Jet Airways who have most likely transferred 17 of their MAX orders to an undisclosed leasing company.
This hasn't been confirmed but their MAX order total has come down at the same time of a new Undisclosed order, both for 17 Max.

The remainder seems to have been NG to MAX conversion(s), which could have happened within the Unidentified Customers group.

Interesting, I presume Jet is leasing them from the leasing company? There was a lot of hubbub about a major narrowbody order for Jet last year, but nothing has come of it.

The last non military 737NG order Boeing has on the books currently is 4 737-900ER's for Alaska Airliners booked last August.
I'm curious to know that too if they plan on selling anymore NG's.

Hi-Fly have been doing very of late, wet leasing quite a few aircraft to 787 operators.

Ironically, this surge in business is a consequence of the technical problems of the RR engines, which the NEO will use a variant of.

Realistically, the monies ultimately used to pay for the RR engines on the NEO's could well be the same monies RR end out paying to RR customers as compensation.

As such, in a round about type of way, RR could be getting some of their monies back.

Didn't you know that for one, an LOI or MOU is a confirmed, solid, all paid up order, while for the other they mean nothing until the aircraft has actually been delivered ?

Of course this works both ways, just depending on which fan base they are part of.

Isn't this very fast for a new order? I would assume that you have to wait at least 3 years till you get a new 787 if you place the order at the moment. Maybe it is an old order stated as undifined in Boeings books.

With these delivery dates it looks like a similar deal as their 1st 787-9 order. That was an order transfer of 4 787-9s from Air Europa. This could be a new swap for 6 more 787-9s from Air Europa's order book (or any other 787 customer), we'll know for sure if there's also a cancellation for 6 787-9s in the monthly update.

Could also be a deferment by one customer, with the slots freed up being allocated to BOC's new order. I'm not sure how we'd find out from the monthly updates if this has happened.

Not planning to start a flame war, with current development at A330neo, I somehow feel GA firm order for 14 A330neo looks shaky. They have 30 A350-900XWB, 30 787-9 Dreamliner yet to be firmed up. The A330neo order was a result of cancellation of 7 A330ceo.

74 new widebody is way too much for them to take in since they only have 27 widebody now. Any thoughts?

I expect GA to eventually take all 14 A330neo, while the numbers of A350 as well as 787 will be far short of 30 for both types.

If there's a new order from BOC and there's no cancellation we know at least that it's a completely new order.

I just rechecked the 787 production list, there are no more Air Europa 787s to be delivered this year. So if it's an order swap it will be with another customer, it could be Hainan or Norwegian selling off assets.

I was under the impression that the A350 and 787 orders were actually LOIs, placed a long time ago and there's been little indication they will be firmed up.
