Sorry if it's discussed before.

The non flying 777-9 testbed, does it have a line-number? Or was it squeezed in on the production line between two flyers?
And will #1567, #1574 etc all be flying ?

l/n 1567 is the non-flying testbed.

We seem to have reached the stage where rollouts are dominated by the 77F. Please could someone supply a list of line numbers for the next 77Ws in the firing order ?

I read the 777X thread and nowhere was anything mentioned which LNs are which frames. Can you post the link to where these details are?

Ah yes, I see the info on that static test frame has changed and it's been allocate l/n " 9995 ".
Also changed is that l/n 1579 was due to go to EY Cargo now going to ET Cargo.
Presume then EY Cargo won't take any more 77F's then and the all-white l/n 1575 will be heading elsewhere.

EY Cargo has just 1 777F left on order.

If the l/n 1575 won't go to them the A6-DDF registration should change into a temp N reg. Unless it will still be delivered to EY and then leased out by them to another airline.

1579 was never for EY Cargo. Most of the data on the pages that you are referring to is nothing more than pure guesswork but people keep quoting them as if they're some kind of Bible for all things Boeing.

Still listed as an order -- none delivered. Since the 777F will continue to be built for several years there's no hurry I guess.

Does Boeing have enough 77W orders to get though the transition to 77X or do they need to entice a few more orders out of a few consumers? “Hey UA, have we got a deal for you...” :scratchchin: :bouncy:

Boeing has gained 1 order for a 777-200LR (orderdate: 24 October 2018). This is the first order for the -200LR since April 2013.
Anybody got an idea who this order belongs to?

I believe there are more than enough especially with the small flurry of recent 777F orders. Note that the 777X has already begun production in small numbers.

Not nitpicking on you, but according to Boeing updated O&D website, it shows 1 B772LR, 38 B77W and 55 B77F unfilled order. The difference of 5 frames (you have mentioned 87), will it be because those frames are completed but not delivered?

The difference of 5 (7?) frames is because Boeing can not have them on their books as firm orders according to ASC 606, as they declare on that web page. They seem to apply ASC 606 to the whole numbers, but not yet to the single customers. I took the whole backlog for 777 and deducted the 777x numbers. 413 - 326 = 87. If you want to add the 5, you get 92.

87 777 still on order. 777-300ER, 777-200LR and 777F

Not nitpicking on you, but according to Boeing updated O&D website, it shows 1 B772LR, 38 B77W and 55 B77F unfilled order. The difference of 5 frames (you have mentioned 87), will it be because those frames are completed but not delivered?

Not nitpicking on you, but 55+38+1=94, a difference of 7 not 5.

Hahaha, sorry for calculation mistake. No wonder I am not involved in accounting or any engineering field. Even with a calculator, I still make mistake.

Conclusion= 87 with ASC 606, without is 94 frames. Apologies for derailing the thread.

Can someone confirm 777 production rate is running at 3.5 frame per month? https://airwaysmag.com/industry/boeing- ... ate-slows/

I believe there are more than enough especially with the small flurry of recent 777F orders. Note that the 777X has already begun production in small numbers.

But the issue is the 777F doesn't stop when the 777X starts so we have 39 passenger models plus an undetermined amount of freighters to cover until the switchover to all 777X/777F -- don't know if they have enough or not?

They do.
