I suppose that there has to be a hard cutoff date at least for the passenger versions which could compete with the new product. I have heard rumblings from those within my airline that a lessor who has orders with Boeing for the 773 is looking for potential operators. If they have set production number and date I dont know, but my company for now doesnt want and/or need the X type. Already having 20 of them it wouldnt surprise me if they take some of those last spots to get them why they still can.

They are also being leased, they are not a direct order (but still new builds) so won’t be listed under BA’s name in the order book.

Anyone know what's up with A6-EQP and why delivery is taking so long?

First flight was more than a month ago (19th Oct), it's been on a few EWA and Boeing test flights, and it just performed a C4 test flight yesterday.

Someone's not telling the truth... Boeing themselves show 6 still to be delivered and they also show on other internal documents as well. I've not seen any announcement of a cancellation.

Boeing shows 113 of 120 777-300ER's ordered delivered as of 28 Sep 18 -- did they take 7 more in the last two months? If not, I guess Boeing website is no longer an accurate source?
