This one is a milestone for Qatar.

The 70th 777 aircraft and the 100th Boeing aircraft.

What About Iran order ?

Boeing did not book Iran Air order as firm order, it was an LOI or MoU depends on how one sees it. This is in line with how Boeing worded their press statement the order is subject to "contingencies [being] cleared"; unlike Airbus which booked their order as firm. Both OEM have different accounting reporting system, hence the difference.

http://boeing.mediaroom.com/2016-12-11- ... -Airplanes

As re-cap, on Dec. 11, 2016 Boeing and Iran Air announced an agreement for 80 aircraft that includes 50 737 MAX 8s, 15 777-300ERs and 15 777-9s, valued at $16.6 billion at list prices.

With the latest sanctions, very very unlikely to happen, at least whilst Trump is in power.

Not sure about this 2014 order, based on Boeing O&D website, all ANA orders have been fulfilled. However I find it strange though, the 777-9X figure is wrong and the two B772FLR order is not listed too. Are they placing the order through lessor? The six B77W orders seems to be entirely dropped from Boeing webpage too.

They placed an order for 28 B772 and B772ER in total, all delivered. Retired seven= 21 currently in operation.
B773= 7, all delivered, all in operation.
B77W= 22, all delivered, all in operation. Last delivery was in 2015.

This is a recap of the 2014 order: https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2014/ ... 3FOdSQzaT8

The airline is buying seven A320neo models and 23 A321neo planes from Airbus. From Boeing, ANA agreed to buy 20 777-9X aircraft, 14 787-9 planes and six 777-300ER models, according to the statement.

ANA have 2 coming in the not too distant future. 1x 300ER and 1x F. Both are showing in the internal firing order lists.

Their new orders are listed under "ANA Holdings Inc. (Japan)"

open ANA Holdings Inc. orders through June 2018:

6x 77W
2x 777F
19x 777X

I don't know why 1 777X is still listed under All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (Japan).

Are these two VIPs the ones in Japan that are on BSL, or are they new from the factory that will still be made? Is it 200 or 300 version?

Wouldn’t Japan AF1 be considered as military deal between Japan and Boeing ?

I think one of those BBJs are Saudi government HZ-MF9

If they are 77W they will still be listed as an order by Boeing Commercial and just only as a Boeing Defense deal. Just like all the USAF KC-46 tanker orders are listed as commercial 767 orders.

Judging from previous orders the Saudi government orders are usually listed as Unidentified, not as BBJ. So the 2 open BBJ orders should be the Japanese AF1s, they will only be delivered in 2019 and there haven't been any recent BBJ deliveries.

No, HZ-MF9 was delivered on 24Mar15. Still in BSL I think for outfitting.

There are no deliveries listed on Boeing's Orders & Deliveries page around those dates that can be linked to Japan. I think those dates you give are the dates when these frames were ferried from Everett to the modification / outfitting location.

But the deliveries should indeed happen this year, the 1st even this month. It will go into service in April 2019 (according to the Japanese wiki page).

The undelivered BBJs are the 2 Japan government ones. Also ref the Ministry of Finance B77W being at BSL, that's incorrect. It's at Alliance Fort Forth and has been there since 23 March 2015.

And speaking of it, does anyone know when it will be finalized, painted and handed over to the Saudi government?

I'd like to know too! This one and their 2x 787s over at Lackland AFB have been there way too long when compared to how long the mods have taken on other large BBJs. In fact HZ-MF8 has been at Lackland 4 years to the day and HZ-MF7 is 4.5 years and counting.

Now 48 planes to go. How many 777-300 ERs are 'loaded' to the production line now?
The 777y does not allow for delay.

There are also 53+ 777F in the backlog + the production rate has slowed down significantly as the 1st 777X frames are now also in production. And if this is not enough in case of a delay Boeing can still built the frames and do rework, just like they did with the 787. Hopefully not in the same numbers of course....

ps.
Better look again later today after Boeing has updated their monthly order totals to see the new post Farnborough numbers.

Three more cancellations in the Unidentified category in the July figures. Now down to 10. More cancellations to come as Boeing tidies up their orderbook ?

The undelivered BBJs are the 2 Japan government ones. Also ref the Ministry of Finance B77W being at BSL, that's incorrect. It's at Alliance Fort Forth and has been there since 23 March 2015.

August 15, 2018:

Could this be one of the BSL based VIP B77W on a test flight??

Yes, it is. It's their first of the two frames. I think I read on a French aviation forum that delivery of the first one is imminent.

25 777 delivered so far this year by end of July. Delivery rate seems to be down to about 3.6 frames the first 7 month.

Zero delivered in July. When did this happen the last time?

It should be noted that PAE was closed the first week of July for runway resurfacing and shortly after reopening the runway had to be closed due to the runway not producing expected results. As a result further works and repairs have had to be done on the runway. The result being less test flights for not only the 777 but 787 as well. During July Boeing only delivered half the amount of 787's compared to July. In the last week of June there was a rush of aircraft delivered some that were suppose to be delivered in July

Zero 777-300ERs delivered in October 2017. There may have been a freighter or two.

A bit off topic, but I wonder what the fate of the two Japanese AF VIP 744's will be once both the 77W's are in service ?
Must be some of the best 744 frames out there.
